book Ariyasomvilla

Asian villa in the heart of Bangkok

Built in 1942 as a private family home, the Ariyasom Villa is now a first class family-run hotel set back from the hustle and bustle of the lively Sukhumvit area. The original building has been recently updated with quality local and imported materials including reclaimed teak floors, antique furniture and Thai silk drapes. This carefully executed restoration project has created 25 luxury rooms and suites without taking anything away from the charm and character of this historic Thai building.

The original owner and designer of the Ariyasom Villa, Khun Phra Chareon, was an accomplished engineer having designed both the National Stadium and the first runway of Don Mueang airport. It is his granddaughter who, along with her English husband, now runs this hotel. From the minute you step into this hotel you can sense that this is a labour of love for the owners. The rooms and the garden are kept immaculately, and the level of service is faultless. The love extends to the kitchen (as it always should!) of the hotel restaurant, Na Aroon. Na Aroon is one of the few good vegetarian restaurants you will find in Bangkok serving both Thai dishes and western classics like lasagne and homemade ravioli.

Guests can choose from four room types: Studio, Deluxe, Executive Deluxe and Executive Suite. All rooms are en-suite and feature satellite TV and complimentary WiFi.
